CASA of the Ninth is a local nonprofit that is currently searching for compassionate and dedicated individuals and couples to become volunteer Court Appointed Special Advocates. Return of the Predators; Return of the Balance

"Spend a family-friendly evening with wolves, as we view the 2019 film “EPIC YELLOWSTONE: Return Of The Predators”, along with 2 short films from the Rocky Mountain Wolf Project, that explore the myths, reality of gray wolves and the need for wolf restoration to Colorado. Volunteers will be on hand for anyone who would like to sign the petition to put Initiative 107 - the wolf restoration initiative - on Colorado's 2020 ballot."

Gondola Giving

2 pm to 6 pm - Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park - Bring in non-perishable food items to receive free gondola admission tickets for our Winter on the Mountain Kick-Off event

"Glenwood Caverns invites you to GIVE at the base of the Glenwood Gondola for our community-minded event, Gondola Giving. Beginning at 2 p.m., we will continue the tradition of collecting food donations for Thanksgiving meals to community members in need. Bring in non-perishable food items to receive one free gondola admission ticket for our Winter on the Mountain Kick-Off event beginning at 5 p.m., or donate grocery gift cards of $20 or more for 4 gondola admission tickets to be used at the event and be entered to win great prizes! Prizes included Annual Thrill Passes and soak passes to Iron Mountain Hot Springs. Donations can be dropped off at the Bighorn Toyota truck parked at the gondola base, then pick up your free gondola passes at the cashier window. The free passes are valid Nov. 23, 2019, only. During Gondola Giving, local radio broadcaster, Jim Williams will be riding the Glenwood Gondola from 2-4 p.m., broadcasting live to keep the giving going. Along with interviews from Glenwood Caverns employees, Santa will give a special interview before making his debut appearance. A special thanks to Bighorn Toyota for collecting cans in a beautiful Toyota truck to later be sent to local food pantry LIFT-UP. "Kick off the season of lights at Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park’s Winter on the Mountain! Our new high-capacity Glenwood Gondola will whisk you up the mountain as we bring back the mountain-top winter fun you love. Beginning at 5 p.m., enjoy the dazzling scenery of over half a million lights, fire pits to warm up and roast s'mores, live music by The Leonard Curry Trio in the Lookout Grille until 8 p.m., and when the clock strikes six, we will light our giant musical Christmas tree! Hang around for shows every half hour. The Alpine Coaster will be lit up for your winter coaster thrill, or you can take a ride on the Haunted Mine Drop. Winter Stoke Film Fest 2019
